december 9- december 15

December 9- Each of the kids got the new Pokedex that came out. Looks like they were a bit hit!!

December 10- Alex was not at all happy about their location today. He likes when they DO something. Not just sit. High expectations on these elves!!

December 11- The elves TP'd the kids rooms as well as the hallway to the playroom! Naughty elves.

December 12- The drew mustaches on Kira's pictures upstairs. So funny if you weren't Kira.

December 13- They left the kids candy canes to put on their trees. Alex also received a great award!!

December 14- Looks like it snowed in the family room overnight.

December 15- Avengers versus the elves. What a mess they left behind!!

October 14- Time to make the cookies. Spritz cookies that is!

October 15- Trying out Panzanella's for the first time. Good food and the kids ate well!!

October 16-  Alex had his well child check up. So cute!! Also there was an earthquake in Maine that night. Never a dull moment around here.

October 17- Taco time!!

October 18- Spaghetti supper at the elementary school to support the PE department. Pretty displays on the tables this year.

October 19- Kira in her costume fresh from Nana's hands!!

October 20- Alex's new Pokemon book that got a bit wet in his backpack thanks to a leaking thermos.

august 12- august 18

August 12- My super heroes in their matching shirts along with Alex's Captain Starry America.

August 13- Kids being totally silly. Almost back to school time!!

August 14- Alex playing with his very large collection of Pokemon figures.

August 15- Alex with new Webkinz dog.

August 15- Dave ran into Jeff Burton down in Boston!

August 16- The straw wrappers at Wendy's work well for sticking into people's hair when you blow them!!

August 17- Homemade Friendly's style sundaes for the kids. Yummy!!

August 18- She is so adorable!!

July 22- Alex's Pokemon figures doing battle or something on the floor of the playroom.

July 23- Someone running and jumping too much and got hurt on the new television storage unit in the playroom.

July 24- Raining. Started with really BIG drops.

July 25- At To Your Art's Content.

July 26- Popcorn and a movie. Blue's Clues rocks!!

July 27- Bubble bath time!!

July 28- Kira's hair. We are getting it cut soon. Mommy is sad.

June 3- Bubble boy in the tub.

June 4- Kira as the artist in the spotlight that the art teacher does. This was her first time getting into the spotlight!

June 5- We said goodbye to our play kitchen. It was time for it to be donated to the Rec Center preschool play group.

June 6- Poor Alex ended up with a UTI and at the doctor's. He was in such good spirits you would not have known the pain he was in. Silly kid.

June 7- The very first drama production at the elementary school! So proud to be a part of it. The majority of it was funded by the PTA.

June 8- Field Day at school. This year there were two water slides! It was the hit of the day for everyone!

June 9- Happy 11th Birthday Kira!! What a cheesy grin that girl has.

april 22- april 28

April 22- Little snack of sweet and tangy meatballs. Ran out of rice but it was still good. I got the recipe from Pinterest.

April 23- Alex had a little accident in his bed so time to wash the bedding. Vacation week for kids.

April 24- My girl waiting with me for the van to get a recall fixed.

April 25- Pooh is gone and the room is blue.

April 26- Time for a haircut for Alex = Kelly's Roast Beef for mommy!!

April 27- Adding the Pokemon stickers to Alex's walls.

April 28- Headed to Rhode Island to the Roger Williams Zoo with friends. Great day!

I am the worst of the worst! Seriously... it has been since March since I have posted here. WOW! The good news is that I have gone through and updated all my pictures and am proud to say I am only missing one picture! I thought I had taken a picture of our Rite Aid but alas I cannot find it. My guess is that it didn't come out very well. No biggie, I'll get it later. So there will be a few months worth of messages today. Happy scrolling!!

March 20- making favors for Alex's classmates for his birthday. I printed up the labels for the bubbles and added a pencil to them. Alex's teacher doesn't like sweets to be brought in for birthdays so we're doing these along with animal crackers and juice. It was fun. Ms. Lazarus even let the kids blow bubbles on the playground!! 

March 21- Happy Birthday Alex!! Yup... I made a Pikachu cake for him. Not easy but so worth it as he loved it. That is after he got over the disappointment that it wasn't a blue circle cake.

Present time! More Pokemon figures for both kids.

March 22- Alex by his Georgia O' Keefe inspired drawing for the school wide art show.

March 23- Kira HAD to take a picture of this bunny when we were shopping at Walmart.

March 24- The girls at Maggie's birthday party.
