June 24- Happy Birthday Kira. Time for her Syracuse birthday party with friends and family.

June 25- After party balloons. They always fall so fast.

June 26- Kira and her lovely nails done by Linda. Looking good this year! She has been growing her talons out very nicely.

June 27- Walmart fun for us. Picked up a carpet cleaner of our very own. Only took 12 years of home ownership for us to make the purchase!!

June 28- IKEA!! Heaven on earth. Must go back.

June 29- Organizing kids movies. One is full of Disney movies and the other holds kids movies. Love that all those boxes are no longer hanging around!

June 30- Swimming at Lynda's house for Nikki's college graduation party.

april 1- april 7

April 1- It's Pigeon's birthday!

April 2- It's mommy's birthday.

April 3- First sunny day and Alex HAD to go out and ride his bike. Check out the mittens on his hand because it was still so chilly.

April 4- Saved $0.60 a gallon on gas with Stop and Shop gas rewards at Shell. Very nice!

April 5- I am down and out with a nasty cold. Most likely caused by my working the book fair the previous week.

April 6- Still feeling horrible but went out to spend some of my birthday money on things for ME! That's what mom said I had to do. Now to figure out what to put into my smash book!!

April 7- Kira at the Rec Center Easter Egg hunt before her hunt.

Alex's bag after his hunt! He rocked this year!

march 25- march 31

March 25- Alex's friends party at Chuck E Cheese. He was catching tickets in his shirt!!

March 26- First day of the book fair!

March 27- Teacher table at the book fair all filled up with books the teachers wished to have purchased for them.

March 28- Bearemy from Build a Bear Workshop came to our Family Night of the book fair! So fun.

Clifford also stopped by to hang with the kids!!

March 29- Rainy kind of day with Nana here.

March 30- dinner out at Texas Roadhouse to thank Nana for taking care of the kids all week while I was working the book fair.

March 31- March went out like a lamb!

march 20- march 24

I am the worst of the worst! Seriously... it has been since March since I have posted here. WOW! The good news is that I have gone through and updated all my pictures and am proud to say I am only missing one picture! I thought I had taken a picture of our Rite Aid but alas I cannot find it. My guess is that it didn't come out very well. No biggie, I'll get it later. So there will be a few months worth of messages today. Happy scrolling!!

March 20- making favors for Alex's classmates for his birthday. I printed up the labels for the bubbles and added a pencil to them. Alex's teacher doesn't like sweets to be brought in for birthdays so we're doing these along with animal crackers and juice. It was fun. Ms. Lazarus even let the kids blow bubbles on the playground!!

March 21- Happy Birthday Alex!! Yup... I made a Pikachu cake for him. Not easy but so worth it as he loved it. That is after he got over the disappointment that it wasn't a blue circle cake.

Present time! More Pokemon figures for both kids.

March 22- Alex by his Georgia O' Keefe inspired drawing for the school wide art show.

Kira's Picasso inspired masterpiece for the school wide art show.

March 23- Kira HAD to take a picture of this bunny when we were shopping at Walmart.

March 24- The girls at Maggie's birthday party.

march 6- march 19

Well look at that. I have been missing in action for a bit. Taking pictures just not loading them to the computer. oh the shame!!

March 6- This was at the Unplugged Week event that included board games, a hip hop demonstration and a  glass magnet project from a local pottery place. Every once in awhile they truly love each other.

March 7- Again... Unplugged Week and the annual ice cream social. Most kids ended up with more toppings than ice cream, but everyone was happy and that is what counts. The little brunette is my friends girl Emily.

March 8- Unplugged week fun continues with a Family Dance Party. The kids had a total blast. You can see my little guy hanging with the girls (he's in the blue tshirt on the right hand side of the picture)

March 9- The final event of the Unplugged week is the talent show put on by Alex's kindergarten teacher Ms. Lazarus. Since she is the one who puts it together, she makes sure that her AM and PM class is part of the show. The sad part is that she has 30 students and that is not all of them at the actual show. My guy in bright yellow!

March 10- A bit of shopping for us since Kira has grown out of her spring clothes on me and Alex is putting holes in his jean knees every day!! Oh yeah... hubby needed some new work sneaks (they have to wear all white sneaks) and the two pairs he got were marked down to a ridiculous price so we got two.

March 11- The kids were invited to a bowling party. This was the first time Alex had been bowling. Okay... they call it bowling here but it is actually candlepin. It was a good time.

March 12- Laundry. Seems to be the story of my life. If it doesn't need to be folded, it needs to be washed. There is no end.

March 13- Kira working hard at her desk doing her homework. Wearing one of her new shirts we got at Target.

March 14- This is the sign I made for the art show while I was working in the art room. I am pretty happy with how it came out.

March 15- Alex's leprechaun trap that he made in school. It happened to work out as part of their science lesson as well on getting things to grow! Not sure where I am going to put this grass... Maybe in the front yard.

March 16- Day off from school for the kiddos for a teachers workshop. We had to go to the store to pick up some stuff. Kira found these candles and wanted them. I told her to take a picture. That worked for her.

March 16 again- Alex brought his camera to the store and took pictures of lots of blue items. He also took a picture of me taking a picture of him.

March 17- My little guy having a temper tantrum over a Wii game loss. He was so tired that after he had his fit, he fell asleep under the blanket on the floor.

March 18- Time again to put the book fair fliers together. It's a full evening of fun for hubby and me. But it is done.

March 19- Alex picking some books out at the library while Kira was at Girl Scouts.

Whew... that was a lot of pictures. I need to stop being so lazy.
