july 8 - july 14

July 8- We went to see SpiderMan in 3D. Pretty good movie. I am trying to keep up with all the re-boots that are coming out.

July 9- Kira's room is all set for her to return.

July 10- New chairs for the kids to lounge in while watching movies or playing video games. They are so comfy!! And a little extra popcorn bucket with some M&M's inside. All from Walmart!

July 11- Went to Michael's to pick up some photo boxes to use as storage for the kids art supplies. I need to label them but I love the look and how easy it is for the kids to get to.

July 12- We are heading to Disney!!

July 13- Alex hanging in Nana's pool inside of her chair.

July 14- Kids picking tomatoes from the tomato tree my dad grew this year.

june 24- june 30

June 24- Happy Birthday Kira. Time for her Syracuse birthday party with friends and family.

June 25- After party balloons. They always fall so fast.

June 26- Kira and her lovely nails done by Linda. Looking good this year! She has been growing her talons out very nicely.

June 27- Walmart fun for us. Picked up a carpet cleaner of our very own. Only took 12 years of home ownership for us to make the purchase!!

June 28- IKEA!! Heaven on earth. Must go back.

June 29- Organizing kids movies. One is full of Disney movies and the other holds kids movies. Love that all those boxes are no longer hanging around!

June 30- Swimming at Lynda's house for Nikki's college graduation party.

June 30- Three of my favorite people in the world.

march 20- march 24

I am the worst of the worst! Seriously... it has been since March since I have posted here. WOW! The good news is that I have gone through and updated all my pictures and am proud to say I am only missing one picture! I thought I had taken a picture of our Rite Aid but alas I cannot find it. My guess is that it didn't come out very well. No biggie, I'll get it later. So there will be a few months worth of messages today. Happy scrolling!!

March 20- making favors for Alex's classmates for his birthday. I printed up the labels for the bubbles and added a pencil to them. Alex's teacher doesn't like sweets to be brought in for birthdays so we're doing these along with animal crackers and juice. It was fun. Ms. Lazarus even let the kids blow bubbles on the playground!!

March 21- Happy Birthday Alex!! Yup... I made a Pikachu cake for him. Not easy but so worth it as he loved it. That is after he got over the disappointment that it wasn't a blue circle cake.

Present time! More Pokemon figures for both kids.

March 22- Alex by his Georgia O' Keefe inspired drawing for the school wide art show.

Kira's Picasso inspired masterpiece for the school wide art show.

March 23- Kira HAD to take a picture of this bunny when we were shopping at Walmart.

March 24- The girls at Maggie's birthday party.

february 12- february 18

February 12- After our delicious breakfast, it was time for a family trip to Walmart. I know such a great highlight to the weekend for everyone. But Kira needed a present for a birthday party for this Saturday and we needed a few other things. My wonderful hubby found these pants for me on clearance! I am loving them so much. I know what I am wearing for the Daytona 500!! Go Tony!

February 13- Hubby bought these Build A Bear Workshop friends for the kiddos for Valentine's day. They each have magnets in their paws so they can blow kisses and hold hands!! So stinking cute. The pink cat is Kira's (named Kisses) and Alex's is the dog (named Hugs) Love them!!

February 14- There was a low key celebration in Kindergarten today. The best part of the day?? Each of the kids got to dress up like a mail person to deliver their Valentine's to their friends wonderfully decorated bags!! So adorable. There were three of the kids doing this at a time. Total fun but totally exhausting on the adults. Here's my little delivery man!

February 15- Alex has created a game called Hugs Clues. Instead of pawprints being left on clues, Hugs leaves hearts. I helped on that part by cutting three hearts for him to use. He also has some of the poster putty for them if they need to stick to the clue. We even get to sit in the thinking chair in his room so we can figure out Hugs Clues.

February 16- Mommy got a night out so daddy was in charge of bedtime. Instead of reading, Alex wanted to play a word game with daddy. It was totally stacked in favor of Alex and poor daddy didn't stand a chance of winning. At the end of the game, Alex wrote the below message to daddy on his easel. That is Alex giving daddy a raspberry!! I so love it. Daddy did too.

February 17- She has only been working on this tooth for over a month!! So glad it is finally out. The past couple of days have been crazy since she wouldn't let daddy tug it out and I am not strong stomached enough to handle even looking at it hanging by the thread that was there. Happy to see that hole in her smile-- finally!

February 18- Shhhh--- we must be careful or we may disturb these rare creatures in their natural habitat-- the lazy weekend-ius children-a-lotta. The good news is that they won't be doing much of this today (or tomorrow) as we are pretty well booked for most of the afternoon.

february 8- february 11

February 8- Alex had a small battle with a sign pole at the elementary school at pick up time. Looks like the pole got the better of him. He also had a small cut on his chin. The spot is now a lovely shade of purple/ black. Poor kiddo.

February 9- My new and improved corner cabinet storage. I think I have finally gotten it to a usable space! It only took me almost 12 years.

February 10- Alex at Walmart trying to wave me over to the cupcake case. I was trying to get deli meat so he had to wait. That is definitely not something he does well.

February 11- Pancake breakfast at the elementary school for the chorus and band field trip. Pretty good pancakes and the service was great!! The kids got to the be servers for everyone who came. Wonderful group of kids.

No snow today like was predicted. Not that I am complaining. This winter has been pretty decent weather wise. Especially since my front tires are so sad and pathetic. I cannot wait to get them changed in a couple weeks.

january 3 through january 7

Okay, I need to work on getting the pictures off my camera and posted. I'll get there. And really these are the ones from the end of Project Life 2011 so I guess I can cut myself some slack. ;)

January 3- shopping at Walmart without kids. Always a good thing as I can get done quicker which is always good when you have to go to the vortex.

January 4- Alex running around outside at PM pick up. He totally loves to run all around instead of going inside to wait WHERE IT IS WARM!! Good thing he lets me bundle him up!!

January 5- This is the mess from me working on my Project Life 2011. I was doing the journaling on all the pictures that I uploaded to York. That way once the pictures get here, I can slap them in and call 2011 done!! Go me.

January 6- Look at that. We got some snow. And by some I mean it was totally gone by noon once the sun came out. But it was snow and the kids were happy. Strange winter around here.

January 7- Christmas is all packed and ready to go back to the garage. And this is not all my totes. Some were already downstairs when I took the picture. But Christmas next year will be different- in a good way but different. I am already looking forward to it.

So now here I am all ready for Project Life 2012! Bring it on. Guess that means I should get my binder set up. Oh there's time... it is only the 9th of January!! :)
